We will defy the ban on rally, ODM says

The party Wednesday announced that it would defy an order by police commissioner Hussein Ali outlawing the rally. “We expect the police commissioner to provide security to the thousands of supporters coming to attend it,” said Eldoret North MP-elect William Ruto at a press conference Wednesday.
The meeting had earlier been scheduled for last Monday but was pushed to Thursday.
Police commissioner Hussein Ali outlawed the meeting, citing the volatile security situation in the country.
He cautioned Kenyans against attending rallies called by politicians, warning that they would be arrested.

I have a strong feeling that unless Kenyans act now, our democrancy that has taken years to nurture will go down the drain.
The electoral commissioner has already confessed that he does not know who won the elections.
We have a responsibility to bring Kenya to a position of its former prestige.
BBC now repots that Amos Kimunya has said that the govt will not allow international mediation while at the same time claiming that ODM is funding genocide.

Everybody know that it is govt which controls the security apparatus and police are killing protesters. ODM is not bilging until justice is done.
