We are all tired with PNU's antics and untrustworthiness : FRESH ELECTIONS THE SOLUTION!!

'No Ruto, no grand coalition' asserts ODMWritten By:Judy Maina/Wangari Kanyongo , Posted: Wed, Apr 02, 2008
ODM has said it will not be party to any grand coalition government that will exclude Eldoret North MP William Ruto.
ODM said claims that Ruto was tainted were only meant to divert attention from the power sharing deal as envisaged in the National Accord and Reconciliation Act.
Addressing a press conference at parliament buildings, ODM members led by Najib Balala said every potential cabinet member should be scrutinized if PNU insisted on appointing a clean cabinet.
The party noted with concern that five weeks since the signing of the Accord, no progress had been recorded despite regular consultations.
Balala said Internally Displaced People should have been moved out of the camps by now and urged his PNU counterparts to move to end the delay in naming the cabinet.
He said ODM was ready for a thirty-member cabinet, down from the initially proposed 34 members.
The party made the remarks amid claims that PNU had opposed Ruto's inclusion in the cabinet on grounds that he has cases pending in court.
Meanwhile the debate started by Eldoret North MP William Ruto who over the weekend called for fresh elections in case the grand coalition fails to materialize has elicited mixed reactions from various leaders countrywide.
Siakago MP Lenny Kivuti called on Ruto to respect the wishes of Kenyans who elected the two principals in the power sharing deal.
Meanwhile, his Tigania East counterpart Peter Munya has called on the two leaders to speed up the process in order for Kenyans to get the ministerial services they deserve.
At the same time, Manyatta MP Emilio Kathuri urged the leaders to form a clean cabinet that is realistic in size.
They were speaking during the Eastern Province Consultative Meeting held in Embu town.
