News has it that Kibaki ha´s sent the Foregn Affaires Asstant Minister Watangula to Accra to explain to the AU boss the governments position on Kenya´s current political situation. This is after the government is reported to hade declined to accept Mr Kufour´s coming claiming that the country was not in a situation warranting external mediation. One wonders what card Kibaki and his advisors are playing under the table.
