Made in Kenya solution will only be good when the two parties are able to negotiate. What that means is that Kibaki signs another MOU with ODM - but we all know those those MOU's will not be respected by Kibaki/PNU just like the prevous one.
Do you think that Kibaki and Raila can sit down and discuss issues when you consider the mistrust and deep division between them?
I think breaking the initial MOU's was one of the biggest blunders by Kibaki and ODM will not get into another MOU.
THe only agreement that will work has to involve many witness from the international community - may be some of them could be trusted to rememebr the MOU later

According to a post by VON on mashada,
VP is not a bad idea, but the president has the power to hire and fire the VP therefore it can be a bit tricky.
The vice president does not make decisions about the country. So Raila will be a lame duck sitting in VP chair. That's not the reason why people voted for Raila. They want real change.
Raila cannot automatically be a president in 2012 just because he got cheated this time. Kenyans by 2012 may have changed their mind about Raila and they may want someone new with fresher and better ideas. Kenyans should not be denied that opportunity. People loved kibaki in 2002, 2007 is a different story. We don't want more bloodletting in 2012 just incase Raila does not deliver what he promised.
Power sharing is a good idea.
Raila can be the leader of the 6 provinces that voted for him and Kibaki can look after the other two and everyone will be happy as long as they decide to burry their differences. It's quite obvious that Kibaki will not be welcome in the other six provinces where people are very opposed to his stolen win. It's only fair that he stays in places where he got a majority vote as that's is a reflection of what people want.
Superseiyan on Mashada says
Any set-up that automatically maintains the status-quo i.e. leaves Kibaki president with "normal" executive powers is a bitter pill to swallow. That'd be rewarding cheating. If the "reward" for the stunts pulled last week are that you still get to be the President then:
1) Why would people vote?
2) What's to stop future politicians from pulling the same stunts?
No, Raila won the presidency. No MoU should be signed. This will be a mockery of the electoral process and democracy. People did not turn up to vote only for some gentlemen to sign MoUs. We must continue with street protest until Kibaki/Michuki and UDF kills all of us or he steps down and Raila becomes president..
