The Hardline stand Taken by Kibaki and PNU

The Hardline stand Taken by Kibaki and PNU will not help anything. They are forgeting that it is the citizens who rejected PNU and Kibaki en-masse and no amount of tough talking will coerce them into thinking otherwise. Hey, this is the 21st century and Kenyans are not going to give in to dictatorship!!

The problem is, many people are not satisfied with the way the elections were conducted. You know very well that the electoral process was deeply flawed - from statements by Eurepean Union, US, Maina Kiai, Amos Wako, ECK commissioners, ODM and by Kivuitu. Also by unilateral appointments of ECK commissioners against the IPPG agreement.

Alot of Kenyans had put their trust on democracy but unless PNU does something to restore peoples confidence, they will be no hope for tha majority of ever electing a govt of their choice. The problem here is bigger than PNU and ODM - it is the countries confidence in democracy, justice and fairness that is at stake.
