ODM ARE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE KENYAN SITUATION THAN KIBAKI

ODM Pentagon members said they will put pressure on President Kibaki to accept rigging claims and international mediation.

They said world leaders were more concerned about the Kenyan situation than President Kibaki who allegedly rejected mediation by Ghanaian President John Kufuor and Anglican Nobel Peace winner Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu.

Mr Odinga said President Kibaki was holed up in State House to mislead world leaders that Kenyans had accepted the results and a dissatisfied few are rioting in Nairobi and the country sides.

“President Museveni of Uganda told me that Mr Kibaki tells them that there is no problem. I have talked to US State Secretary Ms Condolezza Rice, Gordon Brown of Britain, Sudanese, Djibouti, Democratic Republic of Congo and Libya presidents among others and I have accepted dialogue through a mediator but the people around Mr Kibaki have rejected Ghanaian President Kufuor and South African Anglican Bishop Tutu. What can one do to convince the world that a dictator of yesteryears is back in Kenya,” he said.

Mr Odinga told local and international press that genocide through police commissioner’s shoot-to-kill order was taking place in Kenya, mostly in slums and towns outside Nairobi. He claimed the outlawed Mungiki sect members were currently hacking people to death.
